The quilting and machine sewing group is for anyone who is interested in any kind of machine sewing: patchwork, dressmaking, home furnishings. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month between 9.45am – 12.45pm at the Pocklington Scout Hut to work on our projects and to share ideas and expertise, unfortunately, the group is currently full and unable to accept new members. We bring our own sewing machines to use and some members also work on hand sewing projects. Beginners are welcome to join us and learn with us. We don’t have a tutor but can give a beginner all the help they need to get started and provide some suitable starter projects.   If you are interested to join our group contact the Group Leader.
